Agape Care Advocates LLC came into existence in May 2022 as a response to the requirement for caregiving services and resources for the elderly and persons with disability communities that we observed. The need to provide such support was the reason behind the establishment of our company.

Our Founders and Our Story

Hello! We are Patina and Lawrence Winston, the founders and CEOs of Agape Care Advocates LLC. Agape Care Advocates LLC was created to serve persons with disabilities and the elderly. Being special needs parents, we understand the need to have a team of caregivers in place to help support you inside your home with day-to-day activities of living. The journey of being full-time caregivers led us to understand the importance and great need to have resources available to provide support to our daughter, Jazarria, who has a Spinal Muscular Atrophy type 1 and is now 11 years old.

It was very hard in the beginning to find resources that could help our daughter and family. Once we became knowledgeable of where to look, we began to help other families to obtain these same resources. We applied for Medicaid and a waiver which became one of the biggest blessings to our daughter and family. We were able to get personal care aides in our home to help with the care of our daughter. We aim to prevent caregiver burnout and the impacts it can have on parents, their day-to-day life, and relationships. This is why Agape Care Advocates LLC is excited to welcome your family into ours and help you get the services and resources that will make a profound impact on your family’s life as well!
